Say the P Word! What are the impacts when we (mis)educate folks to view their bodies exclusively as sites of harm and violence rather than spaces capable of experiencing deep care, affirmation and safety? In this workshop, participants will examine their biases and explore how we individually and collectively access and experience pleasure, given our lenses, identities and experiences. When we understand pleasure beyond mere gratification, instead upheld as a liberatory tactic, pleasure-centered education is a strategy to equip folks with the necessary tools for safety, harm reduction and violence prevention.
