In this workshop, participants will reflect upon their understandings of sex and intimacy as well as why some people might choose to explore different forms of sex and intimacy. During this section, students will have the opportunity learn about protection methods and harm reduction tactics. Then, students will have the opportunity to discuss the qualities of safe and “feel good” relationship(s) as well as assess the role of power and positionality within interpersonal relationships. Students will then have the opportunity to define consent in relation to substances and harm reduction. Ultimately, we will wrap up with supporting students in exploring their sense(s) of pleasure and boundaries.
This workshop is through Front Range Community College and Westminster High School.
