Centering Black BODIES, BLACK WELLness, and Black History within Sex Ed

During this webinar, we will discuss the historical context around medical and sexual abuse in the US as it relates to Black folks and how that continues to impact Black experiences within our US medical and school systems today. We will then brainstorm strategies on how sexual health educators and youth-serving adults can better support Black wellness and youth by reflecting upon personal values and biases; as well as on the policies and practices that exist within today’s education and medical systems.

This workshop is through the Responsible Sex Education Institute at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.
